Purpose Ventures is Western Australia’s newest venture capital fund, having raised over $37 million from Western Australian investors in 2023.
Founders Kylie and Derek Gerrard, along with Venture Partners Marcus Tan, Nicole Lockwood and Brodie McCulloch, are currently looking for their first investments, with the aim of investing 70-80% of the fund into Western Australian startups.
Their primary focus is investing in founders who are chasing their life cause and building companies that can have global impact. The fund invest from Pre-Seed through to Series B rounds and prefer to be in the early stages to support founders throughout their journey.
