About the event

Did you know last year only 2% VC funding went to all-female founded teams?

The face of Australia’s startup ecosystem is changing with a clear shift in the number of women investing in, or leading early stage high growth ventures. This is expected to accelerate over the next few years.

West Tech Women exists to inspire, empower, and shine a light on women and men bridging the gap to rewrite the numbers of female participation in the startup ecosystem.

All genders are welcome to this unique event delivering a networking breakfast, inspiring keynote address, and panel discussion exploring the barriers to women and minority genders in building startups.

The Maali offers unique event spaces with four spacious function rooms, bathed in natural light, adjacent outdoor courtyards and showcasing a calming neutral colour scheme. Immerse yourself in these spaces surrounded by lush gardens, with a central elevated wooden deck providing a vantage point to appreciate the Moringa tree and the Kimberley Sandstone.

No, we welcome anyone that would like to celebrate and further enable female entrepreneurship to join us at the event.
