General Admission
Our General Admission tickets provide you with full access to our ticketed events throughout the day, inclusive of all benefits and perks including meals, networking drinks, and access to facilities required to conduct work throughout the day.
Startup Founder/Supporter
West Tech Fest is passionate about supporting genuine startup founders and their employees. For this reason, we set different ticket prices for those currently operating a startup, scaleup, or an organisation that supports startup founders. This is just one of the ways we’re committed to strengthening WA’s startup ecosystem. This ticket type has the same entitlements as our General Admission tickets. Employees or corporates, agencies or companies who have startup founders as their customers do not qualify for this ticket type.
Community Tickets
We are offering startup support organisations (i.e. Spacecubed, Bloom, etc) the opportunity to access a special discount code for their members. If you are connected to an organisation like this, reach out to them to ask about their discount.
Group Tickets
Orders of 10 tickets or more (General Admission or Startup Founder/Supporter tickets only) are eligible to receive an additional 10% off the ticket price.
Under 25
As well as supporting founders, West Tech Fest is committed to inspiring young people to consider a career in tech and innovation by subsidising the cost of our tickets to be more accessible to those under 25 who are studying full time or starting out in their careers. This ticket type has the same entitlements as our General Admission tickets.
Ticketing FAQ's
When is the best time to buy a pass/ticket?
The answer to this is always NOW with 2023 Festival Passes already sold out! There will be three phases of sales for West Tech Fest 2023. Each phase is subject to a price increase, so the sooner you buy, the more you will save. You can find out more about our pricing schedule above.
What payment types do you accept?
We use Stripe to process payments for festival tickets/passes. This software allows us to safely process payments in a way that is quick and easy for our customers. We can also invoice for large orders of 10 or more tickets.
What fees do I need to pay?
All ticket/pass purchases are inclusive of GST but subject to an additional Humanitix booking fee of 4% of the total cart value + $0.99 per transaction.
Do you offer corporate packages?
Yes, we do. Corporate packages, or what we call ‘group bookings’, are available for bookings of 8 tickets or more in one transaction.
Benefits of group bookings include:
- 10% discount on booking individual tickets
- Opportunity for team building with your colleagues and employees
- Access to thought leadership for your team to be exposed to exciting ideas that will inspire their work in 2024
- Industry engagement opportunities throughout the events
- Hassle-free single transaction booking process

Do you offer charities and non-profit organisations a discount?
As a non-profit event ourselves, we are not able to offer charities and non-profit organisations discounts for our events. If you would like to attend on behalf of a charity, you will need to book the General Admission ticket type.
My reservation says it is ‘powered by Humanitix’, what does this mean?
Humanitix is the platform we use to power our ticketing system. It is a “humane event ticketing platform that donates all profits from booking fees to children’s charities”.
What is a Festival Pass?
A Festival Pass is an all-inclusive ticket that guarantees entry to all ticketed events throughout the week PLUS a suite of other benefits including West Tech Fest merch, invites to exclusive invite-only events, and more.
Can I share a Festival Pass with a colleague/s?
For security reasons, Festival Passes cannot be transferred to an unregistered individual. If you have other colleagues wanting to attend events throughout the week, they’re welcome to purchase additional tickets.
I can no longer make it to the event. Can I get a refund?
Our refund policy allows for free cancellation up to 30 days before the event without any reason. Refund requests after this time are not available.

I bought a General Admission ticket when I’m a startup founder/supporter. Can I get a refund for the difference?

What happens if I haven’t received my ticket confirmation?

What can I do if I’ve accidentally put in the wrong contact details?
If you need to update any details on your registration, you can do directly by accessing your Humanitix order through your emails. If you have any issues with this, please contact us at marketing@westtechfest.com.au.
